Silencing the Voices of Hate
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 28, 2018 - MSA Safety was founded more than 100 years ago in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That’s why our hearts are particularly heavy following this weekend’s horrific and hate-filled massacre of 11 Jewish citizens at the Tree of Life Synagogue. But the fact is, acts of hatred like this have no place in our world, regardless of where they occur. On behalf of the 4,700 MSA associates around the world, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims who perished in this senseless act, as well as the first responders whose heroic actions undoubtedly saved lives. Diversity and Inclusion has always been – and will continue to be – a Core Value of MSA. We take comfort in the thought that these same values are shared by all peace loving citizens of the world. Our hope is that our collective voices, which advocate acceptance, tolerance and dignity, will always overwhelm the voices of those who live by hate.
Our public relations department provides journalists and editors with press materials and information on safety-related topics, and also sets up interviews with MSA executives and product specialists.
