Senscient ELDS™ Open Path Gas Detector
The Senscient ELDS laser-based open path gas detector is available for a wide range of toxic and flammable gases. The Senscient ELDS uses 'SimuGas' self-testing to eliminate employees entering hazardous areas for gas checks. Nuisance false alarms are virtually eliminated with its breakthrough Harmonic Fingerprint processing.
SUPREMATouch Controller
The SUPREMATouch features a large colour touchscreen display with a title-based menu structure to optimize intuitive operation. It can be used with a wide range of detectors for combustible gas, toxic gas and oxygen deficiency. Output options include relays and 4-20 mA outputs. Remote racks can be connected (satellite structure), which expands control systems and reduces cabling costs. Interfacing to external systems is provided by using Modbus or Profibus. The SUPREMATouch has been certified according to ATEX and is suitable for virtually any safety related application including redundant systems with up to a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 rating (EN 61508). The intuitive SUPREMA Manager Software is intended for configuration, parameterization and calibration of the SUPREMATouch Fire and Gas Controller. GasGard® XL Controller

Z-Gard® CXII Controller
The robust Z-Gard CXII Controller connects with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard Sensors, accepting up to 99 sensors. A large backlit LCD screen displays operating, alarm and fault diagnostic system status. Modbus RTU or BacNet MS/TP digital protocols are available for integration with building automation systems.
Zero Two Series Gas and Flame Detection System
Modular system offering the widest range of control cards for use in an integrated fire and/or gas detection system. The Zero Two Series system can monitor any combination of the following: combustible gas, H2S, toxic gas, ultrasonic, oxygen deficiency and flame detection. In addition, its open architecture allows the system to accommodate other sensing devices for tasks such as smoke detection, heat detection and manual call points.
TA202A Single Channel H2S Trip Amplifier Module
The TA202A is a single-channel H2S Trip Amplifier Module for use with our H2S Intelligent Sensors. It is designed to monitor H2S in parts per million (ppm) levels and provide status indication and alarm outputs. Microprocessor-based electronics allow all options to be user selectable through front panel interface (mode / select switch and digital display).
H2S Gas Sensors and Accessories
General Monitorsʼ hydrogen sulfide (H2S) sensors are solid state devices, designed and manufactured for long life and fast response. They are selective to H2S and remain unaffected by high concentrations of other substances like hydrogen, sulfur dioxide, and gasoline vapors, which are often present in facilities that process sour gas and crude oil. A high tolerance to a broad range of temperatures and humidity enable these sensors to operate in rugged environments, as does their capacity to withstand exposure to high H2S concentrations over short periods.
9010/9020 LCD
Advanced design and innovative features make the 9010 and 9020 Controllers the top choice for gas-warning systems, monitoring up to 20 channels. The 9010 Controller operates with one independent sensor, while the 9020 operates with two independent sensors per control module. Each module comes with an independent AC/DC power supply for increased system reliability. Both units feature full internal diagnostics, which minimize false alarms and unexpected down time. The controllers can also power remote sensors, while the large four-digit LCD and LED provide such crucial information as gas concentration, alarm status and more. A convenient RS-485 serial interface offers handy printer connection to make a record of data, while a customized transmission protocol Modbus RTU can record serial bus data transmission such as system configuration, gas concentration, alarm and failure events. The LCD version has approvals for FM (North America) and CCCF (China) whereas the newest 9010/9020 SIL controller is ATEX and SIL 2 certified.

Z-Gard® C 485 Controller
For wide-ranging gas-monitoring needs, the economical Z-Gard C 485 Controllers are up to the task. The controllers connect with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard S Sensors, with controller models accepting up to 24 sensors. Relay outputs indicate warning, alarm or sensor fail for each zone, and units are available with one or two zones. A large LED readout displays the active channel and the corresponding sensor gas level.
Quad Gas® II Controller
Housed in a rugged, NEMA 4X enclosure, this microprocessor-based system links with up to four remote gas sensors. The large, four-digit LED display shows gas concentration and features four warning relays with one per sensor. The model also comes with four discrete alarm relays. Warning, alarm set-points and full-scale range of the sensor are set at the user-friendly keyboard, while a DC battery connection provides backup stability.
Chemgard® Photoacoustic Infrared Gas Monitor Series
The stable, durable Chemgard Photoacoustic Infrared Gas Monitor is purpose-built and detects minute amounts of a wide variety of gases. Three different enclosure styles ensure there is a configuration for wildly different situations. The instrument typically draws the gas sample via an internal pump, which allows the unit to be mounted in a convenient location if the area to be monitored is inaccessible. The unit can be expanded to monitor up to 8 locations, while an easy-to-read display shows gas concentrations and 3 levels of alarms.
MultiGard™ 5000 Multipoint Gas Sampling System
The economical, efficient MultiGard 5000 Gas Sampling System uses auto-standardization and flexible sample point order to analyze gas from up to 32 locations. Maintenance and calibration are made easy because all the work is performed at a single location, while also ensuring personnel don't have to enter the monitored area. The unit directly connects to Modbus TCP/BACnet IP networks, which allows communication to other equipment or controllers. The system allows secure viewing at one's personal computer. The screen provides easy access to scroll-down menus and visual indicators of sensor condition.
TriGas Monitoring System
The TriGas X5000 Monitoring System is an integrated gas detection solution that helps plant operators comply with NFPA 820. The system monitors for combustible gases, hydrogen sulfide and oxygen with on-board alarming and communication interface to plant and remote location control stations.
Z-Gard® COmbo Gas Monitor
A cost-efficient monitor for underground garages and ventilation control, the Z-Gard COmbo Gas Monitor uses an electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide. The unit features local audio/visual alarm status indicators and it can be configured to interface with air-handling equipment to control air quality within a building. Additional remote sensors can be attached to the unit via the RS-485 network port, while a 4-20 mA output is proportional to the calibrated operating range.
Ultima® X Series Gas Monitors with X3® Technology
The Ultima X Series Gas Monitors with X3 Technology bring the power of multi-sensing, signal boost and ModBus output to the Ultima X line of MSA gas monitors. The units are crafted from either stainless steel or NEMA 4X-rated plastic, and our patented SafeSwap sensor disconnect-underpower feature allows all sensors to be replaced in hazardous areas without area declassification. The interchangeable smart sensors eliminate the need for reconfiguration, while the use of one circuit board increases reliability. Each sensor can be placed up to 3,000 feet from the monitor, while the scrolling LCD screen displays sensor reading and gas type.
TRIGARD® Gas Monitoring System
Designed to meet a variety of demanding applications, from wastewater facilities, to light industry and commercial applications, the TRIGARD Gas Monitoring System features MSA's precision craftsmanship and detects chlorine, sulfur dioxide and other toxic and combustible gases. The adjustable-range unit also detects oxygen deficiency and enrichment. AC or DC powered, the system features a highly visible LCD screen and simple push-button calibration. Boasting sturdy NEMA 4X design and a single board, the unit offers multiple sensor mounting options. Our patented sensor disconnect-underpower feature allows all sensors to be replaced in hazardous areas without area declassification, while interchangeable smart sensors are pre-calibrated for installation right out of the box.
Chillgard® NH3 Gas Monitor
The Chillgard NH3 Gas Monitor is the economical choice for fast, reliable detection of parts-per-million (ppm) levels of ammonia, down to -40°C. Capable of measuring a 10 ppm leak, with full-range scale of 0-1000 ppm.
MC600 Multi-Channel Controller
The MC600 is a microprocessor-based multi-channel controller that provides six channels of continuous gas detection. It can be configured as either a local gas detection system, or it can be networked to provide a large plant-wide distributed safety system. It is compatible with our hydrocarbon sensors, H2S sensors, as well as our S4000CH, S4100C, S4000TH, S4100T, IR400, IR5500, IR700, TS4000H, Observer, and Surveyor gas detectors.
2280A Four Channel H2S Gas Monitor
The 2280A is a system for continuously monitoring H2S gas concentrations in four locations. The system consists of up to four remote mounted sensors and a solid state controller. The controller consists of four independent channels, each having its own circuitry. With a digital display, the 2280A shows hydrogen sulfide gas concentrations in ppm (parts per million) in the ranges of 0-20, 0-50, or 0-99 ppm for each channel.
S4000TH H2S Gas Detector
The S4000TH Intelligent Gas Sensor is a microprocessor-based transmitter designed for use with General Monitors' thin film metal oxide semiconductor (TFMOS) sensors to detect H2S gas. The unit features one person calibration and can virtually self-calibrate by simply activating a magnetic switch and applying gas. It detects hydrogen sulfide in 0-20 ppm, 0-50 ppm or 0-100 parts per million (ppm) levels over a wide temperature range. This product has been replaced by the S5000 Gas Monitor. DT210 Eight Channel H2S Readout / Relay Module
The DT210 is an eight-channel Readout / Relay Module designed for use with up to eight of our remotely located H2S Intelligent Sensors. The front panel contains a digital display that indicates 0-20 ppm (parts per million), 0-50 ppm, or 0-99 ppm of the hydrogen sulfide gas monitored by the Intelligent Sensors.
IR700 Point IR Carbon Dioxide Gas Detector
The IR700 has been discontinued. Please see the Ultima X5000 as an alternative. The IR700 Infrared (IR) Point Detector is a microprocessor-based carbon dioxide gas detector that continuously monitors for CO2 in ppm levels. All electronics are contained within an explosion-proof housing so that the IR700's detector information can be processed locally. The IR700 operates with a 4-20 mA signal, which is proportional to 0 to 100% full scale. Configurations with analog output, Modbus and HART are available. Modbus and HART data can be used for predictive maintenance.
IR4000S-CO2 Single Point Gas Monitor
The IR4000S CO2 Single-Point Monitor is a display and user interface for the IR700 carbon dioxide gas detector. The monitor allows local calibration and displays gas concentration. Ultima® XL/XT Series Gas Monitors
These products have been discontinued. Please see the ULTIMA X5000 as an alternative. Engineered to provide cost-efficient gas detection, the Ultima XL/XT Series Gas Monitors are simply an outstanding choice. The units boast a hand-held HART port running over 4-20 mA output which provides convenient setup, calibration and diagnostics. The interchangeable smart sensors eliminate the need for reconfiguration, while local calibration employs LEDs and push-buttons. Indoors or outdoors, some of these explosion-proof models feature infrared technology that eliminates the need for frequent calibrations. Some units operations are based on dual-wavelength, heated-optics technology, which compensates for temperature, humidity and aging effects. The monitors use only one circuit board for increased reliability, and they're easy to install with two-piece field-wiring connectors.
Surveyor Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detector
The Surveyor detects gas leaks by sensing the airborne ultrasound emitted from leaking gas at high pressure. Ultrasonic gas detection is based on robust and proven Gassonic technology and designed for long and failsafe operation in extreme environmental conditions. Because the Surveyor responds to the source of a gas release rather than the dispersed gas, it is unaffected by changing wind directions, gas dilution, and the direction of the gas leak.
